Celebrating the launch of the new, luxury spa at Crantock Bay
Guests from all over Cornwall and beyond enjoyed sparkling wine, canapés and complimentary spa treatments recently (June 29th) to celebrate the launch of the new, luxury, holistic spa at Crantock Bay.
The event was held at the award-winning C-Bay Bistro at Crantock Bay Apartments with its panoramic views of the ocean and nearby Crantock Beach. The unveiling of the spa, which offers organic treatments by Made for Life by Spiezia Organics, marks another milestone in the transformation of the luxury apartments at Crantock Bay.
The Eyles family first purchased the hotel in 1951 and current owners, Nina and Tony Eyles have transformed Crantock Bay Apartments in recent years.
C-Bay Bistro opened in October 2013, offering inspiring views over the north Cornwall coast and the sands at Crantock Bay. The development of the spa means that guests and spa clients can enjoy organic spa treatments and the use of the beautiful pool and spa bath overlooking the sea, before sampling the award-winning menus at the bistro.
Also present at the launch were Mark and Jo Whitrow-Coates of Whitrow Design who designed the spa; artist Lorna Wiles who created the paintings which adorn the heated indoor pool and Amanda Barlow, MD of Made for Life Organics. The team from Olfactory Coffee, which supplies C-Bay Bistro were also on hand to offer samples of a new, exclusive blend of coffee created especially for C-Bay.
Nina Eyles, director of Crantock Bay, said: “We’re truly delighted with our new spa. Whitrow Design have created simply beautiful spaces. The three treatment rooms and our nail bar offer tranquil havens for our fantastic spa team, led by Carly Cutino, to carry out the holistic spa rituals created by Made for Life Organics and OPI nails. We also have a very calming, softly lit relaxation area, so that spa guests can relax between treatments or using our heated indoor pool and leisure facilities. The atmosphere is one of calm, luxurious nurturing and it really is a wonderfully relaxing space.
“The response we received last night was overwhelming. So many people have booked in for future treatments and we are thrilled with how well the spa has been received.”
