10 reasons to visit Crantock Bay
With the nights drawing in, a chill in the air and the countdown to Christmas underway, now’s the perfect time to think ahead to your next holiday – whether it’s a winter break, half term with the kids, or summer holiday.
Here are just some of the top reasons why Crantock Bay in Cornwall should make it onto your destination wish list during 2019.
Our self-catering apartments have everything you need
All of our apartments have modern, fully equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi, private balconies, terraces or gardens, comfy beds and sofas and allocated parking – everything you’ll need to enjoy a stay with us. We even provide welcome packs, which include the essentials and a bottle of wine.
The beach is right on our doorstep
Overlooking Crantock Beach on the north coast of Cornwall, we have easy access to the beach below. Backed by dunes and wildlife rich grasslands, it’s perfect for building sandcastles and surfing. At low tide, there’s also a cave to explore.
We’re great for families
With plenty of space (and sea air) around us to burn off excess energy, we’re perfect for families. Our self-catered apartments mean you can cook and eat when you want to and with highchairs and cots available should you need them, you’ll have everything you need. We’re located in a quiet area, so you can unwind and relax without distractions.
We have our own spa and leisure club
Featuring treatment rooms, a relaxation area, indoor heated pool and spa bath, you can indulge in a treatment, spa day or swim, within moments of your apartment. All of our treatments are created with natural ingredients from Made for Life Organics.
We’re dog friendly
Seven of our apartments accept dogs and our café is dog friendly too. We’re located right next to the South West Coast Path, which is perfect for exploring the Cornish coastline and the beach is four-legged friendly all year round!
Our café serves great food and drinks
Serving delicious breakfasts, yummy cake, the best coffee (we’re of course biased), lunch and an evening menu, our café/bar/bistro is sure to tempt you in. In the summer, you can sit out in the garden or on the sun terrace and during the colder months, watch the ever-changing sea in the warmth behind the glass.
We’ve got a view to die for
Every single one of our apartments, the café, pool, tennis court and spa have glorious views of the Atlantic. We’re lucky to get some incredible sunsets and during the winter months, we’re in the perfect spot for storm watching.
We’re centrally located in Cornwall
Our location makes it easy to explore the North coast and areas surrounding Newquay, but we’re also less than an hour from towns and villages on the South coast, such as Falmouth. Centrally located for exploring Cornwall and all it has to offer.
There’s so much to see and do
From surfing and bodyboarding, to family attractions, gardens and country houses, there’s plenty to keep you occupied during your stay. You can even practice your surfing technique on the perfect wave at FlowRider.
We’re only 20 minutes from an airport
Looking to get away, but don’t fancy a long drive? We’re only 20 minutes from Newquay Airport. Reducing travel time from most parts of the UK to around an hour in the air, you can avoid dreaded traffic delays and hours in the car.
